The ultimate goal of this course is for teachers to integrate formative assessment practices into their daily instruction. To meet that goal in the course, teachers develop and refine instructional practices that engage students in new ways and that support them to better understand what they are learning and how to move their own learning forward.
The course is designed to support four key principles:
- High-quality content,
- Ongoing learning,
- Peer collaboration, and
- Job-embedded application.
